Application Period Closes
The strict deadline for on-time Grade 8 applications. Applications submitted after this date will be considered 'Late'.

Parents can view the outcome of their Grade 8 applications on the WCED portal.
Confirmation Deadline
Final day for parents to confirm their Grade 8 placement choice online.
Transfer Application Period
The system opens for Grade 2-7 and 9-12 transfer requests.
Application Outcomes Released
The outcome of transfer requests will be displayed on the WCED system.
Deadline to Confirm Acceptance
Parents must confirm acceptance of transfer placements by this date.

- The last official school report card of the learner (e.g., 2025 Term 4 report)
- ID, birth certificate, or passport of the learner
- Immunisation card (Road to Health Certificate) - required for primary schools

- Proof of residence (e.g., municipal account, lease agreement, or police affidavit)
